Sedna Inuit Goddess of the Sea

Sedna is the Inuit goddess of the sea, all life in the sea came about from her and is watched over by her. Also known as (Nuliayuk, Taluliyuk) she is featured in several inuit creation stories. The work features a main portrait of the goddess and then is surrounded by fused and painted panels of some of the creatures found in our arctic waters. A central panel is surrounded by 14 small panels that frame the middle. These can be displayed together of hung individually as a collection. 50% of the sale price will go to Anderson House a local women’s shelter in PEI. The assembles panels are is 49" tall and 35" wide. Fused glass and stained glass with solid wood frames.
